*ABOUT IJMB*

IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) is an Advanced Level program supervised, run and moderated by Ahmadu Bello University,Zaria. It allows successful students to get admitted into 200L in any Nigerian Universities. It’s a 9-10 months program, after which a direct entry form will be obtained for 200 level admission processing.





*IJMB HISTORY*


IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) is an Advanced Level program supervised, run and moderated by Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Successful students gain admission into 200L in any Nigerian university of their choice.

*DURATION*

IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) is a federal government approved program with academic calendar of 9-10 months to suit all prospective candidates.

The examination is conducted in FEBRUARY every year, while the results is released in due time for admission processing.



*SUBJECT COMBINATIONS*

It is designed to solve problems of admission for candidates seeking admission into Nigeria University instead of JAMB.

Interested IJMB Candidate are expected to select any THREE (3) A/L SUBJECTS related to their course of study From:

1.Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics & Geography for SCIENCE CANDIDATES
2. Economics, Business management, Accounts, Government, Sociology, CRS/IRS, Literature for ARTS/SOCIAL SCIENCE/HUMANITIES CANDIDATES.

*GOODNEWS*

On completion of the IJMB programme, successful candidates can use their result to gain admission into 200 level in any Nigeria university through direct entry



*PROOF*

Check jamb brochure to see IJMB as a direct entry requirement into 200 level. When admission begins in September/October, they are then shortlisted for admission into their chosen institution.



*HOPE*

Most candidate who failed either in jamb or post utme in the past always do IJMB program and most of them get admission into 200level and meet their colleagues in 200 level.

The good news is that a lot of people are entering into the university via IJMB program directly into 200 level because of its relevance.

After intense and unexpected rain fell in the north of Chile,
 parts of the usually arid Atacama desert have turned into a
carpet of flowers.
The "desierto florido" (flowering desert) phenomenon usually occurs
 every five to seven years when rains cause buried seeds to germinate
 and flower.
But this bloom comes just two years after a a particularly colourful flowering
 in 2015.

A US couple says they can see Jesus Christ watching over their child in a pregnancy ultrasound.
The Pennsylvania pair said a man dressed in a robe with a crown of thorns is looking at their baby from the far left of the image.
"When they gave it to us, um, to me it's Jesus," mother Alicia Zeek told a local news station.
She said the ultrasound gave them comfort after complications with two other pregnancies.

The firm plans to appeal, as it has in previous cases.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has fixed minimum cut off marks for Nigeria’s tertiary institutions.
The minimum cut off marks for admissions into universities in Nigeria was set for 120, polytechnics and colleges of education pegged at 100, while that of innovative enterprising institutes was pegged at 110.
Institutions are, however, at liberty to raise their cut off marks for admission above the minimum set by JAMB.

The Ogun State police command has arrested nine cultists who were reported on the run and have all have confessed to being members of the Eiye fraternity at Iperu Remo and Isara areas of the state.
The recent arrest comes a months after the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) had raided the base of the cultists at Iperu Remo, a group which is being led by one Taiwo Oluwaseun Boyeko popularly known as Omo Ile Aje.
